Dinner Party Carrots

These tender, sweet carrots are coated in a delightful glaze that's both savory and sweet, making them the perfect addition to any meal. Cook them in your over, toaster oven, or even over the grill.  

Ingredients:

  • Baby carrots

  • Salt 

  • Glaze of your choice: 

    • 3 tbsp. honey, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp. balsamic, and 1 tbsp. fresh rosemary

    • 3 tbsp. mirin, 1 tbsp. miso, 1 tbsp. soy 

    • 3 tbsp. Water, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. white balsamic, and 1 tbsp. fresh chives 

    • 3 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp. fresh thyme 

    • 2 tbsp. water, 3 tbsp. honey, 2 tsp. dried chili, 1 tsp. cumin, and 1 tbsp. fresh or dry oregano 

Instructions:

  1. Chop up the herbs you’re using for your glaze and then mix the glaze ingredients together in a small pot over low heat until they reduce down into a thin syrup. 

  2.  Peel your carrots and trim their stems, toss in olive oil and salt, and then bake at 425 until brown and tender, usually about 20 minutes.  

  3. A few minutes before the carrots are done, brush them with your glaze.
